I have landed in Montgomery AL at Maxwell AFB and have the fun of unpacking and setting up th house now. Hopefully the models will fare well. So far, we have had very little breakage. Wish me luck.

Have fun, my family really enjoyed our tour in Alabama. Just wait until everything is closed on some random week day. When that happens, it is Jefferson Davis' birthday, a state holiday.

Good luck with your tour! I think you will find the south a little different - but on the whole the people are real friendly!

Welcome back Gino. But ever since you said you were being moved, I wondered what is an artillery officer doing at Maxwell?

He's going there for the Air Force's version of Command and General Staff College. The services do swaps for the various intermediate officer schools. My last assignment I lived on an AFB for over three years, along with other Army, Navy, Coast Guard and USMC personnel.

Thanks Rob. I figured at the least it was joint, but wasn't sure. I didn't know they Staff Colleges did exchanges.
