Hello and Good day to all. My name is Walt aka Smiley. I've been a modeler for many years and my prefered subjects are 1/350 submarines, WW1 1/48 scale aircraft and muscle cars and Hot rods in 1/25 scale.
My other past times are power boating/fishing and motorcycles, I am a Veteran of the Vietnam war and have served aboard 3 Submarines ( 1 SS and 2 SSBNs) ending my service in 1975 after 7 years.
I live in Connecticut with my CinC house of 35 years and a plastic loving modeling companian 22 lb cat named Sam. We have 3 grown Children and one beautiful grandaughter. I have surfaced on other modeler forums from time to time using a few different handles. I'm looking forward to cruising these waters from time to time.
