Hi all,

Just came across this site and couldnt resist joining - looks great so far!

My name is Steve and I am from Hull, East Yorkshire (anyone nearby?). I am 30 years old, married and 2 kids. Recently returned to modelling after a very long break, more or less 20 years since I did anything. I dont really know why I came back to modelling, I just did! Anyway, my modelling area's so far are army modelling and diorama's. I actually enjoy the diorama making more than doing the kits. Up to this date I have only done 1 diorama and a couple of models, my best kit being a Ford MUTT U.S Marine Jeep in 1/35th scale that is going on my first diorama.

Here are some pictures of my work so far.

Hope you like them.

Well while I am typing this I would like to ask a quick question.

Does anyone here have any kind of plans or drawings with measurements of buildings (any kind) that they would email me? Ive been trying to make buildings and have a scale converter but when I do one it never looks in scale or proportion - I really could do with a starting point such as drawings of some sort - prefered scale is 1/35th or 1/72nd.
Ive looked all over the internet but cant find a thing that doesnt cost loads of money. If someone could sketch out a simple drawing, nothing elaborate just something with doors and windows would be great.

Your help would be appreciated,
Best wishes to all,
Steve

Steve:

Welcome to the Big A. Enjoy your stay. As for your question, there are some building made by MiniArt I believe and they arent too expensive. Check out the review section. I beleve that there are some scratch built houses in some of the old posts. Perhaps try a search for buildings.
