By way of introduction, my name is Eric, I'm a software engineer from Virginia.
After several stalled attempts in the past couple years I have re-entered the world of scale modeling after a ~20 year hiatus. I've been an occasional lurker on this site for a couple years or so, but family and professional obligations have prevented me from really getting back into it. Happily, those distractions are now in the past and I went out and bought three armor kits and dove back in.
As for the kits, ruined the first one(Tamiya Panther A) trying to master my newest contraption(double-action airbrush), hoping for better results with the nearly-completed second one(Tamiya Early StuG III G), and I have an Academy Tiger I(Early) on deck. Guess my subject of interest is pretty obvious! :-)
I've been very impressed with the site in general, it is great to see a community so available to help the newbies(especially the excellent articles). I look forward to participating. And thanks in advance to the many patient souls who will answer all my silly questions!
