I guess I am the FNG here at Armorama! Thanks for the hearty welcome gents (and ladies too if you're out there!)
I am an avid Armor, Diorama, figure, & soft-skins all in 1/35 scale. I have been building for 18 years off and on and rarely build OOTB. I don't QUITE have the AMS , but close. I think I prefer the building of models to the painting of them; yeah I may need a pill of somesort!
I earn my living as a Corporate Chef for a large Commercial Truck manufacturer here in NC and I am also the General Manager for the food service. I love my job - it affords me the time to devote to building and generally making my wife feel as though our house is under some sort of small scale invasion I try and take it in stride though....
I have participated in M-L and T-L for years and some of you may know me from those sites.
Member of IPMS and attend our monthly meetings of the George Preddy chapter, which I am V-P .
I don't really claim to know everything, but I do seem to center on Stug/Stuhs, Sherman (wonderful!), T-34s and any IDF AFVs (from 48 on...)
I am looking forward to participating in livley discussion here with you guys and who knows, maybe post something for once in my life!
Thanks again!
