I succeeded to get the première tickets to the two towers here in Sweden, it will start 00.02. Do they start the movie different time in night? In that case would Australia see it 9 a clock in the morning #:-)

I think the movie is released on a certain date, so you see it as early as possible that date. It's based on local time, so there will be midnight shows all over the world, but following the sun (or moon in this case! )

Congrats on getting the tickets!
Dec. 18th (opening day) is a Friday, so I'll probably have to work... I really do want to go within the first week of showings. There's something that's much more fun about seeing a new movie 'with the crowd'.
I predict Harry Potter will be forgotten as soon as The Two Towers comes out. :-)

The Manila Film Fest is scheduled for December and The Two Towers release date might be moved because of this
