has anyone done mods on the large 1/18 scale aircraft from 21st century toys?
I have a bunch and I'd like to add a motor to make the prop turn slowly and maybe some nav. lights

talk about the "world wide web"
thats the great thing about modellers, plastic before politics. as to the armour conversion, so far I've built 1 sherman tank by tamiya.
good fun although I had no idea what i was doing, went alittle overboard with the weathering.
I figured its a tank, its got to be dirty.
I'm looking for my next armour project, any suggestions?

Welcome aboard Adam!
One Sherman. Hmm, what do you like? Allied, Axis, WWII, Modern, Cold War era?
Have you looked at the Allied tank destroyers? The M10, M36, or the M18 would make a fine addition to the Sherman.

Hi Adam, and welcome mate,
You haven't gone far wrong with picking this site but you really should be building 1/35th tanks y'know!

They wouldn't let me back into australia if I built a brotish tank before an aussie one!
I think I'll try a 1/2 trak next, they just seem cool to me.
any suggestions on brands, types scale?
I'm also working on a 1/18 diorama with aircraft and vehicles, check my link I'll try to get some pictures up soon.
