I don't watch a lot of TV But last night I got real annoyed from those idiots at Geico Insurance Generally they have stupid commercials But last night they went above and beyond annoying me

I saw Speed Racer driving his car down a mountain road Along comes Trixie,Chim-Chim and Sprittle in a helicopter

Trixie starts talking to Speed He says I'm in a race What do you want? She tells him the bridge is down There's a pause She then says "but I have good news I just saved 15% on car insurance ny switching to Gieco"

How dare Geico use a classic cartoon,Speed Racer,in their commercials They don't know who they are dealing with by making me angry :-) :-) I will destroy that lizard as well :-) :-)

Wow - I haven't seen that Geico commercial yet. I like the Gecko though...

They must have paid Speed Racer Enterprises come hefty change - they don't license 'ol Speed cheaply...

I actually like the Geico commercials. The speed racer one is perfect, it looks just like the show. I think all of them are very clever mimicking commercials like Old Navy, exercise infomercials, wrestling, etc. Unlike a lot of commercials you also remember the product name afterward.

Problem is that I remember the name but I have no desire to pick up the phone and change my insurance.

my fave is the one when the guy and girl are looking at the picture of the kung-fu guy.... and the guy says "kapow!" it makes me want the picture, not the insurance

When I first saw this I thought reality tv really sunk to a low point...at the end a Geico Insurance commercial :-) :-) :-)

i have to admit, as frequent as they are, it's kinda annoying. But on the other hand, they are the cleverest commercials on TV.
Who doesn't do "The Robot" dance when the gecko breaks into it?

you have to admit, those are clever in the way they trick you into thinking it could possibly be the lamest idea ever for tv (little house, workout machine etc.) and the idea sticks

I have always liked their commercials. I LOVE the gekko

I have seen that commercial, also. But, there is something wrong with the helmet on Speed Racer. It has a different symbol on it. It used to be a "V" on the front, and the symbol on the commercial is different. I wonder if that is some way of getting around licensing.
