Ooops! Leave it to a rookie poster to completely overlook this thread!

I returned to modeling last year in January and basically picked up where I left off when I turned 18 when I left the house, and that is armor modeling. There are a number of 1/16 tank clubs that get together here in the states and battle with their toys as a form of 'show N tell' and also a chance to use what they build. Of course, I still like the challenge of a 1/35th kit whether it's straight from the box or a little alteration of some sort.

Call it a mid life crisis (45) or whatever, building is a very big stress reliever that I always loved to do and with the Internet we have access to EVERYTHING!!

So after much surfing on this message board I thought it would be appropriate to introduce myself to an awesome site that has some very valuable information and ideas!!

Welcome to Armorama Jeff. Stay away from some of those Eastern European armor kits if you don't want any stress :-) Looking forward to seeing some of your work.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!

And to Jean-Luc, my favorite airplane I ever built was the Kingfisher! So, I still might pick up a kit someday.
