Hi guys,

On Saturday I'm getting a tattoo. It will be my first and I'm slightly nervous. I understand it can sting a bit. If it doesn't hurt too much I will probably do it again some time.

On the following Wednesday I'm getting married. It will be my first and I'm slightly nervous. I understand it can sting a bit. If it doesn't hurt too much I will probably do it again sometime.
:-) :-) :-)

My fiance Linda has been getting annoyed because I've been telling everyone Wednesday will be "Linda's Big Day". She said "Don't you mean OUR BIG DAY?"

I had to explain to her that on Wednesday she gets to marry ME. All I get to marry is her!

Very funny. We'll remind you of this line in a year or two after being married. We married guys don't use the term SWMBO for nothing. You'll find that girl friends often use their sense of humor when they become wifes.

You might consider a ear piecing instead of a tattoo. The American ladies comic Rita Rudner says she prefers men who have pieced ears. "They have experienced pain and bought jewelry." That makes them the perfect husband. :-)

Good luck on both days!

Just remember, one takes a lot more money to remove than the other! :-)

And you're not writing this while in a body cast?

Yep...like Rodger said, we'll see in a year or two.....and the tattoo hurts a lot less

Good luck and may you have a happy and wonder filled life together.

" A tattoo is for life", so be careful with the design you're having inked.....
" a wife is for.... well, just be careful... :-) :-) :-)
Seriously, A tattoo is for life, so be careful, a wife is a wonderful thing while it lasts, so make the best of it..
Good luck with both..

Yes marriage can be quite paintfull.

A woman marries a man, hoping she can make him change, but she can't. A man marries a woman, hoping she will never change, but she will.

All the best wishes to the both of you.

Hi guys,

Many thanks for the good wishes and funny comments. When my Linda read them she made some comment about getting married on Wednesday and divorced on Thursday.

Just remember when your wife says she wants to share the household chores it really means she wants to give up half of her's.

Martin,

It's not too late to change your mind. Are you sure you know that you are getting yourself into? :-)

Remark by ‘Wife to be’ overheard in a Salon: “Gee he is perfect, I can’t wait to change him!”

Best of luck to both of you!
