Howdy Deusmex,

Mighty glad to welcome anyone with the name 'Gordon' to this wonderfful site! (we're gettin' too many 'Dave's around here lately.... ).
Anyway, even though my Da' was originally from Edinburgh and not Glasgow, he taught me the 'kiss' when I was a wee lad so that I wouldn't be the only one on the playground with a headache.
Very happy to make your acquantance, and look forward to seeing you around....

Tread.

BTW, how did your MAD Armoured Car build come out? It was this weekend right?

Well Treadhead as the song goes " A Gordon for me a Gordon for me , if youre no a Gordon youre nae use to me"
We Gordons also have our own dance too but I wont go into that one.
As for the Mad armoured Car build I did I posted some pics here

Martin , I live in Edinburgh , but Im originally from a little mining town called Armadale.
The big city has more model shops tho so I moved here a few years ago.
There does seem to be quite a few Scots here . The joint Irish/Scottish plan of taking over the world by emmigrating to every corner off it seems to be working , but shhh just dont tell anyone , come the revolution therell be free Whisky and Guinness for everyone

My area of modelling has changed back and forth over the years. I guess like most I started off with aeroplanes to hang from my bedroom ceiling , then I discovered Wonderland a shop in Edinburgh who stocked Tamiya tanks , I was in heaven (this was a long time ago btw) I stuck with armour for a few years then tried figures but by then I was off discovering the joys off loose drink and hard women. My interest was rekindled about 6 years ago by Games Workshop which I dived into and spent far too much money on but it has given me some half decent figure painting skills, which brings me to now , when Im back into armour (and rapidly developing a British armour obsession) , but Im also gonna try and work on some life like figures instead of the comic book sci fi style of GW (which I still like tho)
Probably too much info there but thats me. Oh my saddest moment in modelling was loosing an entire packing crate full of paints tools supplies and models when I moved house about 6 years ago..... gutted.
Still theres always
