Greetings all,

I am RIchard Renes, a.k.a. Snowhand, from Rotterdam, Holland.

I am new to this site, but not exactly new to model building

Ever since I glued together that Matchbox 1/72 F4U corsair back in 1978, I have been bitten by the bug :-)

My main interests are ww2 allied armor and softskins, as well as any plane in any scale that I think looks cool

Now all I need now is a digital cam ...

Thank you all for the warm welcome

One of the things I have done recently is converting model kits into 3d VRML models, with various degrees of success.

Models I have converted thusfar are tamiya's jeep ( back to real size, vrml wise that is ) and the AEC matador that came in Airfix's RAF refuelling set.

And that all without the benefit of 3dmax
