My name is Rick and yep,I'm a modeler. Got back into it in '99 after a 36 year layoff from it.
Currently have a Techmod T-50 (this one fights back).About 10 1/35 figs and a 1/32 Revell Typhoon in progress on my bench.Am also just now getting back into castings with some simple stuff like wermacht bread bags and dragon's teeth to see how it goes.Always trying something new to see if it's a better way. Don't use an air brush and not real excited about PE. Have stumbled around Missing-Lynx for a while and Thought I'd stir up your neighborhood for a change.
Nice place you have here!

Welcome Aboard Rick. Like you I've lay-off modelling for a very long time and you'll find many here who share similar experiences. In fact you won't find better and friendlier company anywhere else.
Take care.

05Sultan -
Welcome Rick. I'm another one of those "returnees" and feel privileged to have found Armorama to keep me back. Great family of modelers that are helpful, supportive, and very understanding. Even us "old dogs" can learn new tricks. Spent some time down Maxwell AFB way about 20 years ago. Thought Montgomery was a great "Southern" spot. Looking forward to seeing and hearing from you.

Iam assuming I messed up a keystroke. Thankyou for the welcome!

Hi Graywolf!
The callsign comes from my work as aprocess operator that manufactures catalyst that makes styrene resin

.My unit is called the 05 and the operators that run it are called the 'The Sultans of Styrene'.
Our stuff is all over the globe to make the resin that makes the part that you cuss out at your workbench! :-) .
