... at RM72 that is very cheap.... i think DML kits here costs about RM100-RM120....

which shop in singapore are you referring to?[/quote]
I visit Timemachine Studio. On my first purchase alone, I was given a membership for further discounts and the oppurtunity to be the first offered for DML limited releases etc. They normally reserve these kits for members. Timemachine is the distributor for Dragon in Sinagpore and to some extent, Malaysia. If you guys all have a wish list, I can help out some.
I will be there again this Saturday and also will be heading to some art shop. Need to get some sable brushes, don't know if I can find 'em.
I use Artist Oils to paint figures, except their camo, which I use Humbrol or Valejjo. Hmm...I should be more accurate, more like plan to paint them with the above. I have all the stuff, but no guts.
You heard about Dragon GEN 2 figures right? Well, I have in reserve the first GEN 3 coming out in January if I am not wrong.

Defender, welcome to Armorama. How fortunate you are to live in JB and shop in Singapore? Anyhow, any idea how much a 1/16th Dragon figure cost from Singapore?

I will find out how much it cost for the 1/16 Dragon figure and post it here.
Yeah, the Gen 3 is out very fast. Still haven't done any figures yet on my Gen 2. Gen 3 got lots of parts. Phew... just thinking about it making me nervous. Its a totally new generation.

It is my pleasure to discover this as I have been modelling in isolation for the best part of 12 years. Did not realised that there is such an active community here that kept in touch. Well done to one and all
I an Loo. Age 38, 3 kids, partner at ARC Partnership, a medium sized architectural practice in KL. Restarted my modelling activities after graduation and have not looked back since. It is going to take me a while to go through all the posting here. Lots of great stuff.....
3 of my favourite machines, the T34, Apache Ah64 and Harrier jumpjet..... enough said for now.....

A big welcome aboard Armorama and Kaki Model, Loo. This site is one of the main reasons I got sucked back into this hobby almost 2 years ago.
Currently you'll find most of us trying to "influence" each other to waste our money and increasing our already inflated inventory of unfixed models. Do put up some of your pics.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.It would be my pleasure to learn from you mahagurus.
I best not continue on my T34 just yet as I'm still figuring out what to do in the coming Competitions. Are you guys in?? Cari ilham to get at least an armor/dio in..and moght just dabble on a modern jet for once. The last time I did one was the 72 scale Fujimi F-14 some 10 years ago.
Doing some research on local Malaya campaign but no such luck yet for a good dio scene.
