well, in one hour it will be 2 years that I have been in "the club" I initially joined just so I could post a message that I wanted to buy what was then 2 out of production kits 35th scale Sheridan and Chafee. I rediscovered Armorama 6 months later and have been one of the faithful ever since (hey you don't get 2700+ posts without being involved) JUst like the old Grateful Dead song says what a long strange trip it has been. I have many freindships built up managed to meet a couple of the guys and those of us old timers have shared many personal tradgedies with each other. I 've been in a few battles, and laughed....A LOT!

Thanks fellows for the memories and heres to many, many more

Steve I agree, I first came here, and just lurked, and read the posts. The one thing I noticed, unlike other sites, there wasn't any name calling or arguing, perhaps a few diagreements on subjects and details, but always done with repect, and dignity.
So I also figured I'd become a member.
I signed up for the M1 Campaign, and never having built an M1, and knowing nothing about it, found it amazing the post of the campaign, and all the help and encouragement to continue, and finish it. Nowhere did any negitive or nasty posts appear, and all questions were answered promptly, and with dignity, to all questioneers.
Then I figured I was a member, enjoying the place on a daily basis, so what not join the A-Guard. Haven't regretted it since.
Here I have found some of the best modellers, from around the world, all willing to share their experience, in a rather relaxed place without the ego, chest-pounding, that goes on at so many other sites.
Think I'll ship-over when the this enlistment is up.

I'll say DIDO to that Steve, on all acounts! I have used a lot of different sites, gave up on most! But here at Armorama it just feels like home. No flames , no bashing, just good friends.

Best regards,

Garry
