Noticed the other day while I was shopping at Walmart that the first season of "Tour of Duty" is now available on DVD. It is available at this Web Site with several other great War Movies.

I plan on getting it, but I heard they still don't have "Painted Black" as the theme song That's like watching Willie Coyote and him NOT fall of a cliff! I'm still going to get it, but I'm not going to be AS happy as I would have been.

Tour of Duty was a good show to watch. I remember sitting around and watching it with my dad as he told me about his time spent in the Air Force during Vietnam.

Now there was a show I actually looked forward to watching. Kind of a Nam era Vic Morrow in "Combat" type thing.

I remember that show. Loved it . Watched every week, never missed it.. I do agree the second season got a little silly but..it was still great.

Tour of Duty was a good show, but I preferred China Beach. Dana Delany and Marg Helgenberger -- yum.
