What up dudes, love the site and decided to join. Just got back into modeling after an unfortunate robbery wiped out my previous hobby (Nitro R/C). Anyway, I had about 15 kits piled up and wanted some advice to get the most out of em...and this is an excellent place to get it! I'm in the Air Force and work weird shifts so I will chat with yall as i get the chance, till then its back to the workshop...heh.

Welcome to Armorama Allen, are you stationed at Scott? I was at the Defense Mapping Agency in St. Louis back in 1997. Used to go to Scott a couple of time a week to the DMRO yard with turn ins. Glad to see that you have joined us here. Enjoy.

Lemme try to answer a buncha those posts at once..heh. As for kits, I was mostly into car and truck kits in the past, still am...just finished a 70 charger. I have a big interest in the Russian fighters/bombers and have acquired a few that i havent started. I just PCS's to Scott from Barksdale, LA...home of the B-52!! As for the locals, the robbery i spoke of in my original post happened my 2nd day here while holed up in the Comfort Inn right off base....welcome to Illinois. I had packed every irreplaceable item i owned into my wifes jeep so TMO wouldnt break it in the move. Silly me lost it all. And lastly, i sure wouldnt mind a trip to Incirlik, always heard good things!

Get a degree and go for your private pilots license if you wanna fly in the AF. The more hours you can log before you join will help you get a pilot slot. Im enlisted myself, so a recruiter would probly be better on giving advice on becoming an officer....heh.
