Did anyone see the program on July 7th on Canadian Learning Television called "world at War". I have heard that it is a whole series. The certain one I saw was on the Normandy landings and the Third Army's breakout from St-Lo. It had some fabulous shots of everything from Shermans to Mulberries, Panthers, Wespes, etc.
I highly suggest trying to get ahold of it.

Yes it is a whole series. I believe there are close to or more than 20 episodes. It is one of my favorite documentary series. Hope you enjoyed it.

One of the greatest series of all times. They sell them individually on VHS. Haven't seen them on DVD yet. The series is from the early 70's and narrarated by Sir Lawrence Olivier.

One of my favorite series as well. Every Sunday afternoon, I'd be glued to the tv watching that series as a kid.
