I've been a member for about a week and missed the into section My name is Jeff, I'm 36 and have been an avid modeler for about 25 years. I've had the pleasure of building just about every type of model out there, from Auroura's flying sub (Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea) to a glow in the dark Creature From the Black Lagoon. My favorite is armour and dioramas. Although I have built numerous items, as a teenager I boxed up all my old models and put them out with the trash thinking that I was too old for them --mistake. I hope that I will be able to add to your great site in the future!!!

Welcome aboard Jeff. Glad to have you here with us. I too can relate to the "I'm too old for this" statement. It's funny how you grow up when you're growing up. As far as adding to the site, you just did with the mention of the ole glow in the dark model series like the Creature From the Black Lagoon.
I built the Witch kit many moons ago. What fond memories.

Hello and welcome! I went through a similar growing up period like the one you mention, but fortunately I was away from home and unable to do anything that I would regret before it passed. I have no doubt that you, like all the great members of this community, will make valuable contributions to the site. All you need to do is speak up. We're all ears (eyes?).

I've been building for over 40 years now. Never felt I was too old.For the first 5 years or so, I played wth them. Then I learned about painting them thanks to buying oe of those visible man kits. I guess i feel this is the greatest hobby anyone can have even though I have many many more I indulge in. Gladyou came back, have fun with it and Welcome aboard.
