This would be the first time i have spent more than $30 for a kit and im a modeler on a budget monitered by SWHMBO!
Have not visited any real hobby shops other than Hobby Lobby and Michaels.We now have a toll bridge here so for me it would be $4 a trip for $8 total.There is another bridge that is not tolled but add time to the trip
Looks like im gonna have to take a day and hit all the local shops

Somehow I just knew you were going to say that. However Scale Eproductions is about the best LHS for hundreds of miles around so perhaps worth the price of admission.

Also isn't the Grorge Rogers Clark bridge in the middle of downtown still a freebie?

The George Clark bridge is what i use to get into Louisville
Drops you stright into downtown but is just a few blocks and im back on the expressway.Gotta admit this hobby is addicting,just started building in march and i allready have 18 kits with six completed.Learning lots of new model building skills too.
