I had put this up in the history forum by mistake, so I decided to try it here. Did anyone see this program on the Discovery Channel Tuesday night? If not, and you're interested in the July 20, 1944 assassination attempt against Hitler, you'll definitely want to check this one out. It examines the numerous factors that contributed to Hitler's survival and how a few small changes in circumstance could have drastically altered history. It also had some interesting info on Hitler's Wolf's Lair. It was an hour well spent.

I've seen several documentaries as well as read up on this event. Unbelievable how he survived much to the misery of the world for another 10 months.
