Hey guys!
I guess I should have found this first. I've already had the priveledge of talking to many of you in the past 2 weeks. I've told my folks (who have a closet full of my modeling stuff still) and my friends about this site. It's already been extremely helpful, and I've finally got the courage to post some replies to other peoples questions. (Hopefully a BA in History with a focus in military studies can come in handy).
I did some very basic semi-professional work for a company that made Britton-like figures, but just had to get back to more realistic looking stuff that I do on my own.
On a personal note, I just graduated from The Ohio State University. I was in the Marching Band, and "dotted the i" - a tradition ranked as the most memorable tradition in college football by ESPN. (I also can be long-winded at times :-) )
This site has been a big help so far. Thank you!
- Steve

Hey! A mighty big Welcome Aboard Steve!
We can always use another history-man here. After-all, isn't it "history" that we model?!
Glad to have you here and look forward to seeing in the forums.

Welcome aboard Steve. Being a Purdue grad I can forgive you for the whole dotting thing, I guess... You have found the best, friendliest modeling site on the web. Ask and answer away.

Howdy Steve!
Welcome aboard our modeling Family here at Armorama. Good to have you with us mate! History and modeling go hand in hand, and it looks like you have put the two together nicely.

Hi Steve
Glad your telling your friends about this site.
It will soone be "The pre-eminent modeling community of the world"
I like the layout, mood, depth of knowledge, and that most major flavors of modeling have a lot of representation.
I'm an oddball b/c I'm into militarySciFi modeling, but I sure do love history, and my counterparts do the prototypes justice.
Welcome and send us some pics of your work
Cheers
