Hello from Nevada, USA. My name is Scott and I have been viewing Armorama for a while and have decided to dive in and join. I am a middle school teacher and have been modelling on and off for 40+ years. I am looking forward to meeting you and learning and growing as a modeler. My primary focus is 1/35 military, but enjoy other genres as well.

Thanks Damian.
I definitely will get some pics up. I have several in the pipeline and some shelf queens I'm wrapping up. My Tamiya AMX-13 is almost ready for some paint and I think I'll be starting Italeri's LMV Lince by the weekend. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Hah! Many of the comments I have seen around here would seem to indicate most folks have the opposite opinion of the effects of modeling!

HaHa! Well I just model for the joy of it and not worry too much about how it is received. I do try to be accurate as possible. It takes all different kinds of people to keep things interesting.

Truer words have never been spoken...on both accounts! Hyuk yuk yuk!
But seriously, welcome to our humble forum Scott,
Hope you enjoy this wild and wacky world as much as we do. Looking forward to seeing your works. I used to be a youth pastor, so I know a thing or two about 8th graders too. Sanity may be over-rated
See you in the zoo....

No doubt! Anyway I did attempt to upload a photo. The quality is horrendous. I only did 1 as a test. I don't want to waste anyone's time looking at garbage. I'll keep working on getting more up. Thanks for the warm welcome
