Hi,
Clifford here from Northern Ireland, just purchased the 1/350 Academy Titanic.
Would love to install internal lighting, and mount on sea base for display in living room.
Going to be a long haul, but looking forward to any links / tips....
Thanks for having me !!

Hey Cliff welcome !

I saw some lighting kits last year at Telford and the company was saying you tell em, we make em basically.

I will endeavour to find their name and details for you.
all the best

Hello Clifford, this sounds like it would be a most interesting build, especialy with lights. I build mostly WW2 Armour, but have thought about doing the same one as you. I look forward to your next update. Best regards....Dale

Chaps,
Thanks very much indeed for the replies, basically, I intend to build the kit as per instructions, but, to drill out as much of the internal superstructure as possible, allwoing the light to relfect through.
I have been toying with the idea about using the new type nof Christmas white neon sets, that are battery powered [3 /AA size].....they don"t throw off a lot of heat, if any,...
Paul, would love to find out more about that company in England?

Thanks again,

Cliff

Welcome Cliff,
I am sure we can help. LED lighting sets can be bought form a number of sellers on ebay. They sell them pre-wired you will need to add a power source. They also sell fibre optic sets.
Good look with build.
