I know its a bit old now but i baught the dvd of it today and i really enjoyed it , im no mel gibson fan but i thought he played it very well. :-)

I liked it too. I haven't gotten the DVD but they sure play it enough on satellite. I would be very interested in a "History or Hollywood" discussion on the movie. It seems very realistic but I don' t know how much was history and how much Hollywood. As for Mel Gibson he can be hit or miss. I kind of like him but I'm not sure about some of his choice of roles.
