I love Oscar time. Not because I ever see many of the movies that are nominated, Master and Commander and Return of the King this year, but because of 31 days of Oscar on TCM. This year because the awards are given Feb 29th TCM is starting their annual tribute to Oscar today. This is a great time to see some good old movies. I'm going to be loving it the next 31 days. Now if I can just ge my wife to stop complaining about seeing some of them for the twentieth time.

I have to totally agree with you my friend... My only lament is that this year there are so many great movies that were nominated. I wish Last Samurai had made the cut. The only one I didn't see was the Mystic River. I read the book and was bored out of my mind a year or so ago. Never could figure why a movie.
