Know your international slang and you know where I am from
New to building armor models after always having (and still am) building aircraft in various scales it felt like a good idea to spruce things up and delve into a different subject because the aircraft still on the shelf were... well still on the shelf. My late grandfather who was in the army during WW2 is probably the instigator from "upstairs", the way my models are progressing I'd say we are making a good job of it.
The score so far:
Airfix 1/76 Matilda II Drake on a JTT African desert diorama setting
Airfix 1/76 Vickers MMG Carrier
2x Plastic Soldier Loyd Carrier that will both be getting a Milicast 6pdr on their tow hitches. Both this and the MMG Carrier are works in progress.
M4A3 "Oddball" Sherman, also a work in progress and already posted in a different forum section.

Welcome aboard, Oddball! There are a lot of subjects here to read about and much to learn from everyone.
I admit, I popped open this message because the State of Wisconsin in the US is also Cheeseheadland, but it's good to find others "across the pond".
Cheers!

Thanks Randy! Am starting to learn a thing or 2 about Shermans and hope to gradually expand from there. A HobbyBoss M4 High Speed tractor is also waiting in the wings, just need to find some artillery for it to pull.
