Hello everyone. My name is Joe and I'm from Tennessee.

I haven't built models since my pre-teen years and have just recently decided I need a hobby to escape the "realities" of adult-hood. Having a passion for WWII, I began to investigate the possibilities that existed in this field.

My start was at the local Wal-Mart where I was naturally disappointed with the selection. After hunting down a local hobby shop I was elated to discover the untold options that were at my disposal. After checking many websites on the internet, I stumbled upon the single most informative and impressive modeling site around....Armorama!!

It's great to be a part of this family and I have already gained a wealth of knowledge from the many forums on this site.

Happy modelling!!

Fabio,
You know I may have to build a M11/39 because I enjoy driving these in Battlefield 1942 (the pc game). One run I remember particularly... left a lot of dead allied soldiers in my wake.

Welcome aboard BaronJJ!

Welcome Baronjj to Armorama, the very BEST modeling site on the web. Don't let Scoccia snow you on Italian vehicles until you give the Brits a crack at you. With Scoccia's help I built a M13/40 and I enjoyed it but my heart still belongs to Matildas, Grants, Fireflys, Churchills, etc, etc.

Hello Joe

Glad you have found the best modeling site ever known to man or beast. Early Panzers like the Pz 1 or 2 are a great place to start!

Enjoy

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. It is definitely great to be here. I've already stocked up on 5 or 6 Tamiya kits. How do they rate? I'm still gathering quite a bit of info on the web (although I find myself spending 98% of my time at Armorama!).

Mostly what I have currently is German armor.

Thanks again!!
