Hi guys now I guess I'm what you'd call the new guy round here.

I was glad to find this site. It seemed to "beckon". I've always had a love for all things aviation and a few months back decided to try my hand at my very first diorama. It is a NATO air base called EVIE set in the countryside, realised in 1:144 scale (Runway is truncated due to no space!) I wouldn't call it the most visually aesthetic diorama but hopefully it does have character.

I decided to host the first ever diorama Air Show (well I've never seen it done yet). Hopefully the new presentational style brings something different to our wonderful hobby. Hope I can create even a slight semblance of the air show experience. The main challenge will be to make the models "fly". Bear with me everything here is a first attempt!!!
