I loved it! I'm heavily biased. I grew up reading the Hornblower books and I've seen Captain Horathio Hornblower more times than my kids will ever let me forget. I can't remember a movie I've seen lately that at once made me wish I had lived it, and at the same time be very, very, glad I didn't. I can't imagine what life was like in those times, but this movie does the best job I've ever seen of giving you a slice of life from another era. Oh, and BTW, there's a MODEL in it! I higly recommend it.

Well halfyank.. I'm sure you alerady know, but there is 2....count them....2 brand new Hornblower movies on this week . As some satellite dish commercial says "Jumpin Josepath yehaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" My sster didn't like Master and Commander. Said it didn't folow the books too well. She loves Hornblower movies and has also read all those books.
