Hi Gang
I have been something of a forum butterfly over the past 2 years since returning to the world of plastic.
I have been improving, slowly, with building skills and am now starting a similar journey with air brushing.
I am an real Panzer nut but I can appreciate any well build and painted tank from any period, my favourites are the Pz I and Pz IV, the start of the PanzerWaffe and the workhorse of the blitzkrieg.
My current target is to get a good representation of Panzer grey, and, I know it sounds crazy, I'm using a KV-1 to practice modulation? the logic is I can use different shades of green to see how it looks and see how it is reduced as you go through the various stages of gloss, pin wash matting and weathering.
I have been following some excellent builds and painting blogs here, and I feel ready to dive in and share.
Thanks for the chance to join in
Steve H
