I have been reading this site for years and have decided to join in the fun.

Last fall a friend and I agreed to participate in the 88 campaign. Unfortunately, he recently passed away, so now I feel compelled to do this!

Anyway, I am looking forward to the campaign.

BTW, is there an FAQ here that explains how to attach a photo to a post? I had no trouble uploading the image to the site, but I can't figure out how to add a photo to my posts...

Glad to have you aboard. I use www.photobucket.com for posting photos. It's pretty straight-forward and free. Simply upload the photo, select the image from your library, and copy the img.code. Paste this directly into your post.

Hi Mark, welcome to the fun! Matt is right - it is a whole lot easier to post images that live in Photobucket, but if you want to use the Kitmaker gallery you can find useful info here and here.
