Modellers all,
I mean this in a nice way, but your site has actually slowed down my modelling. I have relocated my modelling board adjacent to my computer. I spend more time reading the wonderful threads posted by you all that I've lost my modelling concentration.

The site is amazing not only for modelling hints and tips but also as a history reference.
Give me more....

Welcome aboard, Rosedale. I have found that it is about a 50-50 prop. I spend a lot of time reading these posts but the campaigns motivate me to finish projects. So, hang in there.
Fire away with the q's. Everyone is happy to help.

Welcome aboard Rosedale 73. This site is very addictive indeed. I think that most of us here have our computers next to our work bench. As Shaun says it is a least a 50-50 proposition. Ask away and I am sure that you will find the answers here.

Welcome aboard the best site around Rosedale73! Unfortunately I can tell you that the "syndrome" that is affecting you is going to get worse every single day passing. The only medicine that looks to work, or at least giving a bit of relief, are the Campaigns and Group Buildings you can join in in this site. I'm sure you'll have fun on Armorama!!!

Hi rosedale73, welcome to Armorama.
Actually since joining Armorama, one year ago my modelling output has rocketed. Look to get involved in the campaigns and group builds. Also posting pics is great encouragement to do more :-)

A tad of artistic licence used (modellers privelege). My modelling output has actually gone up since finding the site. I was just paying the site complements whilst having a frustrating Zimmerit evening.

I know what you mean though, my computer backs onto my modelling setup and I get torn between the two :-) If I'm struggling with some modelling thing I just jump on here for some inspiration :-)
Chester hey, I've been that way with work a few times. Will you be going to the IPMS Scale Modelworld, in November?

You hit the nail on the head. You do spend a lot of time initially, but after a while you'll start focusing in certain areas of interest where you can ask questions for yourself and helpsomeone else out with answers to their dilemmas. Welcome and enjoy it

Major_Goose,
I must say we can always use more members like yourself. I have not read all 80+ posts you have made to date, but most if not all of the ones I have read are relevant, on-topic and great additions to the discussion at hand.
Keep up the good work and welcome to the site.
Cheers,

Welcome rosedale 73. Isn't it amazing how people from all over the world can join together talking about putting little Japanese plastic models of German stuff together?
Enjoy the great information here.

Hi there rosedale73! :-)
Sorry for being so slow in saying "welcome"!
Glad to see Mal's been plugging Armorama UK - hopefully we'll see you over at
A-UK soon! :-)
It's true... Armorama chews up a lot of my time too... but my "productivity" has actually increased! :-) Before joining up, I hadn't finished a model in ages... now I've finished two out of two... which ain't bad in my book! :-)
All the best
Rowan
