Hi, im sofa, im 21. I have been doing hobbies of some sort for as long as I can remember. I built plastic aircraft when I was a kid, HO lay out when I was a young teen, for middle school and beginning of high school I was not into hobbies, then sophomore year of high school, I got a job at the local hobby shop, and got back into hobbies full swing. I mainly got into rc aircraft, and now have 20 planes.

One day a guy came in to the shop trying to sell some old tamiya kits to my boss. But he wouldn’t buy them so the guy gave me 6 armor kits. Well because school has been stress full I have started a new stress reliving hobby. The is my first time doing armor so give me all the advice you can give. My plan is to make a diorama, of a German convoy going through a check point. So far I have made a
“German 20mm FLAKVIERLING 38”Here are the pictures of it, sorry the images came out pore quality.

Hi Sofa,
First of all welcome to the armorama community.
I think you've done a pretty good job. The only thing is the colour. This is way to bright for German WW2 military stuff. When looking at pictures of surviving harware, you'll find these are a dark grey.

Ya I realised that after a built the model and painted it.. I have been thinking of using a black pastell powder to darken the color... What do you think of that? =) I dont have the money to go get more paint LOL, and Im worried about re painting it..

Welcom Sofa, nice build, the color needs some work. I'm not sure black pastel powder would be a good idea...just give it a new coat of paint in it will be very pretty

Welcome aboard and to the world of tank modeling. You'll find it alot different from planebuilding as there is much more weathering and learning those techniques and what works takes time. Don't fret, there are plenty ofexperienced folks here and all will gladly share what they've learned with you. Enjoy
