Hi,
I've been lurking for a few weeks and thought it would be polite to come out of the shadows. I'm a model railroader and haven't built any military models in 20+ years. I've always been interested in armor and decided to give a 1/35th tank a shot after seeing some of the work exhibited on this site and in magazines. I'm learning a lot from reading the posts here and am getting fired up about attempting a build. I have a small stash of Tasca Shermans that I am planning to get started on soon as I find a cool prototype. I'd appreciate your indulgence if I ask silly questions on the forums and would like to meet other local modelers here in Florida. Hope to have some progress to post soon.

Welcome aboard. Don't worry about asking silly questions. I've asked plenty and they still let me stick around. There are plenty of good references for builds depending on which variants you have on hand.
