I’m getting back into scale modelling after a 18 year absence. Quite a bit has changed (for the better, that is).

A bit about me; I presently reside in the UK hence the Flag. Formerly a South African, I served for 14 years in the SADF (South African Defence Force) as a technician mainly on armoured vehicles. GCS and FCS systems (Gun and Fire Control Systems) on the Olifant Mk1A and B, Rooikat IFV and other Art, AAA and communication Systems.

Scott I am willing to help where I can. I have worked on most of the APCs / IFVs that are in use with the SANDF at present. One of my jobs was doing installations / conversions (communication equipment wise) on Command and other vehicles etc.

I was living between Joburg and cape Town. I loved the places and the people so much that I'm scared to go back to SA now. I've still got a couple of friends down there and they tell me that everyhing is so changed...
