Welcome aboard, I guess you don't have much out there in the ways of a hobby shop. My god...I couldn't think of a scarier place to live than western Austrailia. 7 out of 10 of the deadliest snakes and killer spiders. SHudder. Thank God all I have to deal with is rattlers around here and at least they are courteous enough to let you know they're out and about. Welcome to the club and I guess through mail order, you'll get everything you need and what you don't, you can get here

Thank you all for your kind welcome.
My main interest is WW2 AFV and Diorama Modelling though i don't mind a bit of aircraft modelling too. In aircraft I like Vietnam era US planes especially navy. Unfortunately I don't get a lot of modelling time due to the rigors of trying to be a hobby farmer
.
Currently I'm working on Converting the old tamiya SdKfz 251/1 c into a 251/2 mortar carrier, the DML Hummel and sculpting some figures. I'm also a keen amatuer Architecture buff so if I can help anyone with that please feel free to call on me.
Blaster, The snakes aren't really a worry. We have Blue tongue lizards and Kookaburra's in numbers which eat young snakes and the sheep keep them away too. Spiders are a different matter, We have red backs which are a relative of your Black widow spiders.
Marty, So far Self sufficiency is going OK. We have been at it for 9 months. The other day my wife and I sat down to our first self sufficient Meal:- Chicken and Basil Omlette. I've just killed and frozen my first 50 chickens that I raised from chicks and we have 4 new lambs.
Regards to All
