Having got back into military modeling after an absence of more years than I'ed care to remember (foolish things of childhood and all that) and having used this site extensively for hints and tips the least I could do was join up.I am particularly interested in 1:72 scale ,Soviet ,2nd WW armor and have been in intensive training on some nice Eastern Express kits and more recently PST kits.Anyway the spouse and children have been suitably impressed which can only be a good thing. However I look forward to being a fully participiating of this excellant site, all the best October.

Ahhh another small scale armor builder. Well how 'bout that. I myself like the 35th scale medium for the detail, but seeing some of the quality available on the 72nd they are pretty nice too. Anyway, welcome to the club and I hope you enjoy your visits with us.

OLa October.
So another one from this side of the pond. I don`t need to tell here again that this site is a real goldmine for the modeler as you already discovered the really usefull tip`s and tricks here. And it doesn`t matter what scale you are modeling you always get answers to your questions.
About the 1:72 what I like is the combination of planes in your dio`s I have been around Eindhoven last week and visited a museum that had really good 1:72 dio`s with planes and vehicles and they all looked really impressive. I also like that fact that you can built a dio with a lot of vehicles without needing a big storage or a museum hall to put it in.
Hope you enjoy the site as much as i do
