I am wondering how does one go about entering a diorama in a competition and what are some of the rules pertaining to it. By that I mean you have a time limit in when the diorama can be built (ie the day of the competition) or can I take a diorama that I have constructed and enter it?

Like I said just a question?

Hi Randy,

To enter a diorama into a model show or a model contest is quite simple....you just take the completed diorama to the show/contest and fill out the registration form, pay your entry fee, and provide a little write up about the diorama if you want and that's pretty much it.

There is no time limit as to when the diorama has to be built.....the standard is to not enter the same project more than once at the same show/contest...ie. don't enter it this year at a show and then enter it again at the same show next year.....you can of course enter it at other shows/contests as you please.
