Thought I might drop in here and say hello.

I am 43 and have been into model building ever since I was about 14 or so, exclusively military stuff. When I headed off to College my interests slid off towards tabletop wargaming, but I've recently gotten back into scale modeling with a helpful nudge from a friend of mine. The hobby sure has expanded since I last slapped glue on plastic and I'm eager to try my hand at photo etch.

Perhaps I'll do a 'beginner's build blog' on a recent purchase.
