Has anyone ever seen this movie? Made in '58 I think. I especially like the Shermans that have the Rising Sun painted on the side to denote that its Japanese.

It was an ok film. Let me know what you thought.

The Discovery Civilization Channel did a series based on famous books, one of which was this one. Pretty intense, if only for an hour show. What a dark and dismal book....only one I read that was more disheartening was "Night" by Elie Wiesel.

I've seen this one, but it's been a long time refresh my memory. Who was in this? give a little story too.

I think that an actor from Midway was in there, its about some battle in the Pacific during WWII and its ok. I didn't see much of it, but dad liked it.
