hello, i'm a bit new here so i thought i would introduce myself...
my name is shawn j. bagley, and i have lived in beautiful rhode island for all of my twenty six years (with the occasional two month trip to germany.)
i first became interested in scale modelling after getting involved with tabeltop wargaming, especially warhammer and warhammer 40000. recently i have become a bit... disenchanted with the modelling options available, so i am moving up to 1/35 scale.
this weekend, i start work on my first 1/35 scale diorama (a waffen ss encampment.)
wish me luck!

Hey - welcome to the best web site around.
Good to see another diorama builder. If you have questions - ask - with over 2400 members it wont take long for someone to reply.

Hey, neighbor, have a 'Gansett
! You may be too young to remember that, but your parents will. Your norhtern neighbor from Massachusetts here. :-) This really a great, friendly and supportive place. As you get more into the hobby , if you want to meet likeminded builders, your closest active group is the Bay Colony Historical Modelers. They do a good show the first Sunday of November and meet at various peoples homes on a Saturday afternoon each month. Good bunch of guys. blaster76
