I'm new here but not to the hobby. Been Painting and building since 2000 and absolutely love it. I'm currently in the Canadian Forces Army Reserves and served 6 months in Afganistan. I am also an art student at the Toronto art collegate. Hope to be a good contribution to the site and to the hobby.

Do the Canadian Army allow beards????? Tee hee!!!

Welcome in. I am fairly recent on here too but everyone has been very forthcoming about their crafts and fantastic skills. I hope to learn loads too.

Hope to see your work

Why thank you all for your kindness, I feel right at home here.
The Canadian army doesnt allow beards (sadly), that was just the most kicka$$ pick of me i could find My modelling usually centres around 1/35 figures and Modern/Cold War American or Soviet Armour. I like to paint, build, draw and play guitar on my spare time so I guess that would make me an artist lol. I will get some of my work up pretty soon for you all to see Thank you again for all your hospitality

Welcome. You will find there are a lot of knowledgable, experienced modelerrs on this site that will be able to help you with just about any questions you may have.

Rule 1. Have fun.
Rule 2. Ask for help whenever you need it.
Rule 3. Don't be scared to take your modeling to the next level.

Check out the campaigns when you have a chance. They are a lot of fun when you find one you like.
