Hi !

I'm an Italian student and I am also a "newbie" modeler!

I started modeling in 3 months ago. This brainstorm came looking a model shop window in Strasbourg, France.

I' ve seen the campaign section and I am very fascinated about this way of doing modeling, together.
I think that 90% of the next models i'll do will be inspired by the campaign section.

See you in the forum

ps: i'm sorry for my English, hope you won't be horryfied when reading my posts and i also hope that writing and reading in English here will improve my linguistic skills!

Welcome Aboard Matteo,
I can assure you that your English is 100% better than my Italian, so don't let that stop you from posting.
As for joining a campaign, it's a great idea, and a great way to get to meet new modelers around the world.
Looking forward to seeing your work, and don't worry about being a newbie, we were all newbies once.

Dont sweat the language barrier you are doing fine - what part of Italy? - I spent some time in Gaeta with the Navy - great town - good people.

at the momenti I am trying to make an Audi R8 by Revell
But after it i will do only militar modelling, i think it is more significant
I am also finishing a BMW R75 1/35 by Italeri and i would like to join with it the C2 command and control campaign but i don't know if this is admitted (but i think also it could be because it was a patrol unit and it was also used for despatch delivery)

Best thing to do would be post your question in that particular thread in the campaign forum. The campaign leader should be more than happy to answer it for you.

BTW, John did you get my reply about contacting Matt?

Hello Matteo,

I'm quite often in Milan in bussines trips - you live in beautifull neighbourhood
.
I do agree with you - campaignes are something great and they are one of aspects that attracted me to this site.
Don't worry about being newbie - I'm a newbie for four years now, I'm still learning and I'll probably die stupid thinking that even the best model I've done sucks...
See you on some other forums!
