No, it's not a new model, but rather a, hopefully, new modeler. My grandson was born at 2:50 am this morning. Riley Jacob, 6 pounds 11 ounces. He was a bit early, a Halloween baby instead of a Thanksgiving baby. At nearly a month early he's doing well for his age. He was having a little trouble breathing but the nurses seem to think he'll be fine. Mother is doing fine. Soon as I have some pictures I'll post them.

As the history forum moderator I have to point out that this date in history has two memorable events, besides his birth. The Charge of the Light Brigade and the Battle off Samar.

PS: somebody has got to come up with a virtual cigar for me to pass out.

Rodger: Congrats, and have fun with your new grandson. Remember they'er your payback for all the sleepless nights you had with your kids. Spoil'em rotten then send they home.

Thanks all for your replies. Here are some pictures. One thing, this got me to get a new digital camera.

One of the guys in my model club said it was never too early for me to start building the stash for him. SWMBO, AKA Grand Ma, was NOT amused.

I've also thought of a new handle for him. 3/4 Yank. Grand Ma actually thought that was cute, but Mom didn't like it. His initials are the same as mine, Rodger John, Riley Jacob.
